Comparison.
In many ways, the beach reminds me of the human body. The shore is the stomach.
Every day,
people come and go on the shoreline. The stomach of the beach endures all sorts of stresses. Much like
what most Americans put their body through each day. They leave trash, or take sand or shells, and then the stomach of
water comes up to digest all of it. When the water comes up to wash away the sand, it reenacts the
body processing food and waste. The only difference between the beach and human body is that
the human body has places to dispose of waste, and the beach doesn't. This poses an issue and sometimes ocean
water can get logged with all the garbage and trash that humans don't monitor.
