Cause and Effect

My mom had been bothering me for a long time about cleaning my room. Every day, she reminded me to organize the clothes on my floor, and to dust my furniture.
Every day, I put it off, I said I'd do it tomorrow. One day, I came to the realization that my favorite shoes were missing, and to top things off, there was a smell coming from my room, and not a pleasant one at that. This chain of events led me to the conclusion that cleaning my room was necessary. One early Saturday morning, I bucked up and rose to the occaision.

With plastic yellow gloves and a surgical mask, I worked my way through the piles of my possessions. Luckily, I came across my shoes and I located the disgusting smell. Cleaning my room turned out to be a very good decision. My mom was even happy with me and stopped bothering me about it.
